Es lógico que cuando se está estudiando un idioma, en este caso, el inglés, al principio se tenga cierto temor a responder a diferentes afirmaciones o preguntas en este idioma. Y este temor puede obligar al alumno a rehuir conversaciones, perdiendo una oportunidad tras otra de soltarse en la conversación. Por esta razón dedicamos este post a mostrar cómo responder en las situaciones más diversas, al objeto de que nuestros lectores ganen en confianza en sí mismo. Te mostramos pues una serie de situaciones fáciles de hallártelas en la vida cotidiana inglesa.

Resumen
Estas son algunas formas básicas de responder en inglés natural. Tenga cuidado al utilizar «ok». Como puede ver arriba en los ejemplos sobre cómo responder a ofertas, si dice «ok» a una oferta, significa que sí. Sin embargo, si dices I’m ok (Estoy bien) o It’s ok (Está bien) a una oferta, significa que no. Además, si alguien te pregunta Do you have any questions? (¿Tienes alguna pregunta?), Nunca podrás decir «ok» porque no tiene sentido. Debes decir «Sí» o «No», y es muy común decir No, I’m ok (No, estoy bien) o No, it’s ok (No, está bien).
Además, tenga en cuenta que en las conversaciones habituales, la respuesta I see (Ya veo) debe ir seguida de una declaración o una pregunta. Si simplemente dice I see (Ya veo) y luego nada después de eso, podría acabar con la conversación.
