    Through this article we invite you to discover and\u00a0learn the 28 Arabic letters<\/strong>\u00a0thanks to a table that includes these letters and their sounds (in a simple way, and not with phonetic language), but also thanks to the decomposition of many words to distinguish them .<\/p>\n

    Arabic\u00a0letter shapes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    In fact, it is important to know that an Arabic letter does not have the same shape depending on its position in a word.\u00a0There are three positions, one at the beginning, middle and end of the word<\/strong>\u00a0!<\/p>\n

      \n
    • For example, the letter jim: \ufe9d that we pronounce [j] can be written in these three ways depending on its position: End: \u0640\ufe9e;\u00a0Medium: \u0640\ufea0\u0640;\u00a0Start: \ufe9f\u0640<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Besides the positions, there are also different tones for the same letter.<\/p>\n

      • For example, the letter ba: \ufe8f can be pronounced [ba], [bou], [bi], or even [b].<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        It is important that the ideas of upper and lower case do not exist in Arabic:\u00a0the writing is unicameral<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

        Finally, Arabic is written and read from right to left!\u00a0Here is the table with the letters and their pronunciation:<\/p>\n

        The role of vowels in\u00a0Arabic<\/strong><\/h2>\n

        Vowels play a leading role in the Arabic language, just with a vowel change, the word used may take on a completely different meaning.\u00a0Here are the four most used vowels:<\/p>\n

        • Fatha<\/strong>\u00a0that gives the sound [a] (putting a small acute accent above the letter),<\/li>\n
        • Damma<\/strong>\u00a0that gives the [o] sound (putting a little loop on top),<\/li>\n
        • Kasra<\/strong>\u00a0that gives the [i] sound (putting a little acute accent below) and<\/li>\n
        • Soukoun<\/strong>\u00a0who gives the sound of the letter (placing a small circle above);\u00a0these vowels apply to all 28 letters, and here are some examples:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          For a better assimilation of the Arabic alphabet, we will look at several words and break them down to locate and memorize these 28 letters\u00a0(remember, Arabic is read from right to left)<\/strong>\u00a0:<\/p>\n
