Comparatives and superlatives in French<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The comparative and the superlative are used to establish a comparison<\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0We speak of \u201cdegrees of comparison\u201d.\u00a0In French, there are several degrees of the\u00a0adjective<\/a>\u00a0:\u00a0comparatives of inferiority, equality and superiority<\/strong>\u00a0, as well as the superlative in its three degrees:\u00a0the absolute superlative<\/strong>\u00a0, which is formed by an adverb that expresses a very high degree (very, strong, well, extremely , etc.) The\u00a0relative superlative of superiority<\/strong>\u00a0is formed by the plus + adjective + of and the\u00a0relative superlative of inferiority<\/strong>\u00a0is formed by the minus + adjective + of.<\/p>\n
