{"id":6696,"date":"2021-03-31T07:26:34","date_gmt":"2021-03-31T07:26:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elblogdeidiomas.es\/?p=6696"},"modified":"2021-05-24T10:04:48","modified_gmt":"2021-05-24T10:04:48","slug":"composition-of-the-simple-sentence-in-french","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elblogdeidiomas.es\/en\/composition-of-the-simple-sentence-in-french\/","title":{"rendered":"Composition of the simple sentence in French"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Composition of the simple sentence in French<\/h1>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"margin-bottom: 2rem; margin-top: 2rem; background: #F4F4F4;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center; font-weight: 600; margin-bottom: 0px; color: #fff; background: #FF6868;\">\u00cdNDICE DE CONTENIDOS<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"#types\">Types of sentences<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#composition\">Composition of a sentence<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"#groups\">Constituent groups<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>You may be wondering\u00a0<strong>why make sentences in French or any other language when we can communicate by SMS and other modern techniques? <\/strong>Naturally, for some things and at very specific times we can use new technologies.\u00a0Of course, we could understand each other eventually.<\/p>\n<p>In reality, and not infrequently when we do without new languages, because we are face to face, or we must write a letter or any other classic means of communication, we realize that we are not doing it correctly.\u00a0In a word, we do not know how to construct a sentence correctly in our own language and this multiplies when we want to speak and communicate with a foreign language,\u00a0<strong>if we do not know a minimum of its grammatical rules we can be surprised by the insecurity.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Prayer plays an important role in the French language<\/h4>\n<p>Most of the time, we do not construct a sentence correctly because we do not know (or no longer know) what it is made of, that all its components have a meaning and a role to play in understanding what we want to communicate.\u00a0Also, a sentence can be beautiful and fun to read and listen to.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"types\">Types of sentences:<\/h2>\n<p>First, we recognize a sentence because it begins with a capital letter and ends with a period.\u00a0Between the two, we can possibly identify groups of words separated by commas so as not to confuse them.\u00a0But what kind of sentences to choose to suit the right situation?<\/p>\n<p>To face all situations, you should know that there are four main types of sentences in French:<\/p>\n<h3>Declarative sentence<\/h3>\n<p>It is used to express a\u00a0<strong>true, false, supposed, affirmed or denied action.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Pierre travaille sur son exercice de Fran\u00e7ais. \/<\/em>\u00a0Pierre is working on his French exercise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also, a declarative sentence can be negative: (the above case is a positive declarative sentence).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Pierre ne travaille pas sur son exercice de Fran\u00e7ais. \/<\/em>\u00a0Pierre is not working on his French exercise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The interrogative sentence<\/h3>\n<p>We use it\u00a0<strong>to ask a question.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Pierre travaille-t-il sur son exercice de Fran\u00e7ais?\u00a0\/<\/em>\u00a0Is Pierre working on his French exercise?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The interrogative sentence needs a YES or NO answer at all times.\u00a0But we can add a negation (interonegative), and then the correct answer is YES or NO:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Pierre ne travaille-t-il pas sur are exercice de fran\u00e7ais?\u00a0\/<\/em>\u00a0Isn&#8217;t Pierre working on his French exercise?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We still have an interrogative formula<\/strong>\u00a0, it is the partial interrogation, which of course requires another answer different from the previous ones:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Qui travaille sur son exercice de Fran\u00e7ais? Pierre (l&#8217;interrogation porte sur le subjet: qui? Pierre) \/<\/em>\u00a0Who is working on your French practice?\u00a0Pierrre (the question is on the subject: who? Pierre)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then we will check we will see that the interrogation can be related to many other elements of the sentence in addition to the subject.<\/p>\n<h3>The exclamatory sentence<\/h3>\n<p>It is the appropriate one to be able to\u00a0<strong>communicate a feeling or an emotion.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Pierre travaille bien sur son exercice de Fran\u00e7ais!\u00a0\u00a0\/<\/em>\u00a0Pierre is doing his French exercise well!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>The imperative sentence<\/h3>\n<p>We use it to\u00a0<strong>give an order.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Travaille sur ton exercice de Fran\u00e7ais. \/<\/em>\u00a0Work on your French exercise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"composition\">Composition of a sentence:<\/h2>\n<p>There are\u00a0<strong>two ways<\/strong>\u00a0to compose sentences:<\/p>\n<h3>Nominal composition<\/h3>\n<p>Its base in a noun or an adjective.\u00a0We can find it in slogans, on road signs, in titles or even in medical prescriptions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Quelle belle voiture!\u00a0\/<\/em>\u00a0What a beautiful car!<\/li>\n<li><em>Pourquoi cette id\u00e9e bizarre?\u00a0\/<\/em>\u00a0Why this strange idea?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Verbal composition<\/h3>\n<p>This is the most universal phrase.\u00a0It is built around a conjugated verb and sometimes an infinitive verb:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>The truck s&#8217;est gar\u00e9 sur l&#8217;aire de stationnement.\u00a0\/<\/em>\u00a0The truck has parked in the parking lot.<\/li>\n<li><em>Depart if tard n&#8217;est pas prudent<\/em>\u00a0.\u00a0\/ Leaving so late is not safe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A\u00a0<strong>sentence can<\/strong>\u00a0then\u00a0<strong>be divided into the elements<\/strong>\u00a0that help to identify and ensure that our interlocutors understand what we want to communicate in French.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"groups\">Constituent groups<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>verbal group.<\/li>\n<li>gr.\u00a0of subjects.<\/li>\n<li>circumstantial group.<\/li>\n<li>adjective.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The simple sentence is composed of a group of subjects<\/strong>\u00a0(What or who are we talking about?) And a verbal group (The action).\u00a0Examples:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Le gros chien grogne.\u00a0<\/em><em>(Qui ou quoi fait quoi. \/<\/em>\u00a0The big dog growls. (Who or what does what).<\/li>\n<li><em>Le singe roux mange sa banane.\u00a0(Qui ou quoi fait quoi. \/<\/em>\u00a0The red monkey eats his banana.
