(Ya tenemos dos ni\u00f1os, as\u00ed que esperamos una ni\u00f1a a continuaci\u00f3n.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>hope + that-clause<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I hope that your sister recovers quickly from the operation\u00a0<\/em>(Espero que tu hermana se recupere r\u00e1pidamente de la Operaci\u00f3n).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An example of\u00a0<em>hope<\/em>\u00a0is when you wish for a victory from your team.\u00a0The definition of hope is a feeling full of optimism or a wish for something to happen.\u00a0An example of hope is when a person believes that their life situation will pass and their bad luck will end.\u00a0Have confidence;\u00a0trust.<\/p>\n<p>The main difference between\u00a0<strong>expect and hope<\/strong>\u00a0is that expectations usually depend on someone, while hopes do not.<\/p>\n<p>Expectations and hopes are beliefs or wishes about the future.\u00a0An expectation is a strong belief in the future, while hope is a feeling of optimism or a wish for something to happen.\u00a0Although these two are similar, they are not the same.\u00a0Hopes can be more positive and healthy than expectations since expectations, which are often up to others to fulfill, have the ability to hurt and disappoint you more.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Hope can also be a tool for self-deception.<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>False hope is a hope that has no meaningful basis in reality.\u00a0\u2026 Such an ambitious hope is not only irrational, it is also often reckless and can sometimes even be dangerous.\u00a0Because it can increase your risk of getting into more trouble than you might already have.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"conclusion\"><strong>conclusion<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>By way of conclusion we can say that &#8220;To expect&#8221; is something rational<\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0It&#8217;s when you expect something to happen, and you have very good reason to believe it will.\u00a0&#8220;To hope&#8221;, on the other hand, is more emotional.\u00a0It is similar to the meaning of the verb &#8220;wish&#8221;.\u00a0<strong>Whenever you see &#8220;hope&#8221; think of &#8220;hope&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0.\u00a0When you expect something to happen or that you want it to happen, but you don&#8217;t know if it will happen, the verb you should use is \u201chope\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>Examples:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>She is expecting a baby<\/em>.
